Is there a demand for these skills?

Hi all,

I am working with a programmer whose entire experience is in controller programming. Specific hw is Intel 8xC251, Intel 80C31, Intel 8031 and Intel 8089. Languages used have been Assembler and C Pascal (Delphi). Lots of IO subsystem work and protocol function.
