Keyboard Problem?

My computer seems to be having a problem finding a keyboard. It does work though, I have a Logitech USB Cordless keyboard and mouse. My event viewer comes up with a warning, the source is “i8042prt”. The discription of the warning is “The keyboard device does not exist or was not detected”. Does anyone have any insite to this problem?
