LAN Printer Issue

I am trying to setup a LAN printer on two different workstations. With an identical setup, one prints successfully and the other does nothing. The LAN is 100Mbps and the printer port is set to 10Mbps. The computers – One Dell 420 running NT4 w/SP6; the other is built by Leica (Pent 233MMX) running NT4 w/SP4 (which cannot be changed). The HP printer is configured to use TCPIP.

My setup procedure is to add printer to a local port using the IP address. The Dell works fine but the Leica does not.
