Linux: ISO image to CD?

Linux newbie question: I have downloaded the ISO file (enigma-386-disk1.iso) but now what? Do I burn this to a bootable CD? I have tried that (using Nero5), but it doesn’t seem to work. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what I’m supposed todo next?
