Loading Script Error

How do I delete scanreg.vbs from loading upon boot up in Win98? I get the following message error on booting up “Loading Script C:\\window\system\scanreg.vbs failed.” This started happening when the user received a virus. The virus was successfully deleted by Norton Antivirus 2001.
