logon scripts hangs

Greetings,

I have a computer running Windows 98 that I cannot run the logon scripts. When the users logon they get the messages: “Please wait while your logon script executes…” The client computer stops responding until you click Cancel. The same users can logon on another computer operating Windows 98 and the scripts run OK. Please, help.
