LPT port config problem Novell NPRINTER

Trying to setup printer with NPRINTER from Novell Netware 5. Printer will print from DOS or Windows, but NPRINTER keeps giving me an error “LPT1 is not supported on this workstation” I can access this printer from other workstations running NPRINTERbut not the workstation attached to the printer.
