Mac Email Client behind Proxy Server 2.0

I have 2 mac clients using outlook express. We have set up a proxy server, but cannot seem to get their email client software working behind the MS Proxy Server 2.0. Does anyone know how to configure the clients. I have got the Web Browser to work (IE 5.0). Please help
