MCSD & .Net – Where Do I want To Go Toda

I recently decided to further myself by going for an MCSD certification, I had decided to take the Visual C++ & SQL Server 7 Route to Certification. Just recently I attended a conference on .Net, hosted by my employer, at which I found out that Visual C++ has shifted in its significance regarding the future and .Net.

Does anyone have any advice as to whether I should wait for the new .Net exams to be released or should I continue along the C++ track I have already decided upon?
