ME shuts down after being idle

I have a client that has a PC with Windows ME. when the PC is left idle for approx. 15 min it will automatically shut down. I have disabled the power saving in the AWARD bios and in the control panel, but its continuing to happen. At this point I’m not sure if its a hardware or software issue. Is ME hardware specific like NT?
