Memory Upgrade not recognized by NT Serv

I have a DEll 1300 that I added 256 MB to for a total of 512 MB. When the machine came up it said “Memerory change” and I checked the BIOS. BIOS reports 512 MB.

When NT4 comes up it shows 256 MB.
