Microsoft Office 97

I’m having trouble getting MS Office to work on a machine running NT 4.0 – sp6. MS Access doesn’t recognize many of the common functions (i.e. trim, msgbox). I just get an error “Can’t find library or project”.

In addition, I’m getting an errorin Word that a registry entry is missing or corrupt, and to reinstall Word. I’ve reinstalled MS Office several times, and finally gave up and rebuilt the machine. It still won’t work, and I’m frustrated. The Access database does work with no problems on all other machines I’ve tried it on. Any ideas?
