Microsoft Works Database problem

Environment:
Windows 98SE
Microsoft Works 4.5a for Windows 95
Problem:
I have created a database with this program.
I have defined a report that prints the information in the way I want it.
However, the report settings do not stay fixed. When I try to access the report after cllosing the ap[plication and re-entering it, I find that the report layout has changed.
No matter what I try, the report format will not remain as defined.

Any suggestion?
