MICROWAVE COMMUNICATION

We’re getting ready to move to a location near by and are looking at interum ways of communication between buildings to provide internet access for employees for work requirements. One option mentioned was microwave comunication using two dishes pointing at each other.

Anyone have any information or experience with the comuncating this way? Is it reliable? Cost factor is several thousand dolars less than Fiber or installing a didicated T-1 and then tearing it all out when the move is finished.
