Midi Problems

Hi,
I cannot play any midi as it gives an error saying something about my streaming. It used to work fine and then one day it just quit. I can play a wav and also play flash on the net, just not midis I have tried about everything I know and am at a standstill. Can anyone help? I have run diagnosis programs and checked what I know to check and everything comes up fine.
