Missing Files on Windows 95 Start up

by vicki37 . Updated 25 years, 9 months ago

I just loaded Win95 on a friends 486 computer. The computer was originally on a network and for some reason before windows actually starts…I get error messages (in DOS) stating that there are about 8 .vxd files missing. (ex: vnetbios.vxd file missing). How do I remove the path to these missing files so windows just starts right up.
Thanks for any help anyone can give me.
