Missing Hard drive

My friend put another hard drive in my pc so I had drive “C”, “D”,&”E”drive for CD rom. I had a problem with windows 98 startup so I asked him to re-install Windows 98.Since he reinstalled windows 98 I am only seeing 2 drive “C” and “D” for CD rom.can I get some assistance as to why the other drive is missing.
