Missing Icons in Nt 4.0 Workstation sp5

Running on a NT Workstation 4.0(SP5), after logging into the domain, the user Desktop appears with no icons. Just a green screen with the Task Bar. It seems that Windows Explorer doesn’t work properly either. I’ve rebuilt one machine that had the problem, but I’m having it pop up intermittently on a couple other machines. Any ideas?? I’m pretty sure it’s only when logging into a Domain account.
