Motherboard hicups

I recently bought a Motherboard (J-648A), I loaded and it was working on 64 Mb of Ram (4 x 16 Mb), but when I moved it to another box it registers only 32 Mb (even though it is still 4 x 16 Mb as I had previously). Also, when I enable external Cache, I get a prompt on cache memory and it does not go any further. Are my jumper settings wrong? How do I fix both problems? Are there any web resources I can get help from?
