I have a 4 year old server that I am trying to bring back from the dead. I am relatively new to the industry so please forgive my uneducated question. When I start the server it does not beep. The CD-ROM light is on and appears to be working. There is a tape drive which has a light that is illuminated. The floppy drive light is not on.
Now my problem is that the screen on the monitor is not working. I have tested the monitor and confirmed that it has power and is working. I have tested the video card and confirmed it is working. I have replaced the floppy drive and confirmed that it is not the issue either.
At this point all I can think of is that it is the motherboard. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get a picture on my monitor??
