Moving NT Server off a stripe set

In lieu of a recent server crash, I am trying to figure out a better way to backup the OS’s on our servers. We use Compaq Proliants with hardware RAID, and currently the System is on one partition and data on the other. ( The array sizes range from 55 to 128GB ) One solution would be to back to whole RAID set up to tape and restore everything, however I think a better method would be to Take NT off of the stripe set and place it on a seperate physical drive, thus opening up possibilities for quicker backup/restore methods of the operating system. Does anyone have any tips on how to go about this without rebuilding every server from scratch?
