MS Dos 6.22 Boot Disk

by mal4462 . Updated 25 years, 7 months ago

I am studying for my A+ certification and bought parts and built a computer. The company I purchase from sent me the boot disk(s), etc. However, once I partitioned the drives, I am unable to format them. After partitioning, the system reboots andgives me an error message (see below):

“Bad or Missing command Interpreter
Enter Correct name of command interpreter (eg, c:\command.com)
A:>”

Please help….I have spent the past month attempting to figure this out and I can’t, so any help would be appreciated. Do I need a new MS-Dos 6.22 System Boot Disk? And if yes, where and how can I procure one.

Thanks….
