MS Word Errors

I am trying to use Ms Word 97 and getting consistent errors on opening files from a
particular Win 95 machine.

First is a file curruption error
Second is a Spool32 Critical error

The same files can be successfully opened from other Win 95 machines on the same network

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Word and the entire Office suite but no difference.

Why should this be hapenning? as far as I know nothing has changed on the setup.
