.msi files…can I dump them?

I have 250 MB of .msi files. They are located in a folder called Config.Msi
I’m looking for more room on the hard drive, can I dump them? According to the info from MS (see below) they are install files. Are they also used to uninstall programs and thus if I dumped these file I might not beable to uninstall applications? Help Please
