msnp32.dll

I recently tried to install a linksys network card on my comp the divice would not install properly and when i rebooted i get a message like missing msnp32.dll windows networking will not work i have tried to put the dll back in using my win98 cd-rom but i still get the message every time i boot, can anyone help me out?
