We’ve just bought 3com USR MP16. while configuring we’ve used the same jumpers-settings as were on single Courier modems:
1.normal DTR operation————-off
2.verbal result codes—————–off
3.result codes displayed————on
4.local echo ebaled——————off
5.modem answers on first ring—off
6.normal CD operatoin—————off
7.result codes for origin/answer–off
8.AT comands enabled————-on
9.hang up on escape code——–off
10.load configuration from NVRAM-off
but, the modem pool doesn’t take phone…..
on the other hand, the router is configured to suite single courier modems’ .,
The question is as follows.:
maybe we’re setting jumpers not quite properly or maybe there is something with router configurations, something that should be changed….or both….we’ve got cisco 2611 router.
