Need Help from Expert DOS users

Im tring to Edit the MSDOS.SYS file in windows ME’…I dont know what program to open the hidden file with. I want to change the value of BOOTGUI From One to Zero. If you can help me out in any kind of way Id sure appreciate it, Second, if possible,Id also like to know what program I need to open an .PWL file in windows…..Thanks…
