Netcomm NP7100 Protocol Analyzer

I have recently purchase a used Netcomm NP7100 protocol analyzer from an auction as is. The unit when powered up tells me the system disk is invalid. This is the disk that came with the unit. If there is anyone out there with this unit could you please offer some assistance on how to get this working. Thankyou greatly.

I would like to know the importance of such a product in a SOHO LAN/WAN environment.
