Netscape vs Internet Explorer

I am currently using an old version(2.0)of Netscape Communicator for my e-mail, however, I have recently downloaded Internet Explorer 5.5 and would like to start using Outlook 2000 for my e-mails. I know I have quite a few e-mail messages built up in Netscape but I don’t know how to transfer, export, import, etc. them to Outlook and utilize it in the future. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
