networking not working

I can not figure this out. I have checked clients, protocols, and connections on a peer to peer network running win95. Everything seems to check out fine, but I still cannot get the pc’s to see each other on the network. The hub is showing good connections, I checked the wires and they looked fine. Everything worked until norton system works was installed and run. I have been working on this for days and can not find the solution. File and print sharing are activated on both pc’s. Please help?
