I have two machines with Windows 98SE, and they are connected to a MS Network. They can access each other fine(they share a database for one of their programs)but when I try to share one of the printers for the other one to see I ‘ve come accross a really strange problem. When you send a test page from the second CPU to the first CPU(which has the printer hooked directly to LTP1)it will not print the test page, or anything else for that matter, unless you send another job to the printer. Once you send it again the first one will print out, but the second one is still in the spooler. Its an HP970Cse printer, and I’ve tried many different things, from using a generic Deskjet driver, to changing the spooler settings to print directly to the printer, and still the same problem. I’ve even tried hooking up a different Deskjet printer to see if that would solve anything, but it didn’t. Please offer some advice if you’ve ever run into this problem. Thanks!!
