Okay, so I just installed a motherboard into my already existing computer, the new motherboard is a Shuttle AI61 with an AMD 900Mhz processor and I run win98. well the problem now is that windows seems to have gone crazy since then, whether it’s related to the motherboard or not. Here’s a list of weird issues:
1. When I right click on Start the Open and Explore options are blanked out.
2. Windows Explorer only shows my cd and disk drives, but when it does list the C: drive it’s listed last underneath control panel and all that, and it won’t even show my second hard drive.
3. Since installing the new motherboard my soundcard no longer seems to do well with MIDI, when I try to use it there is a click-like noise to all GM sounds and when Iuse a softsynth there is a massive delay or some sort of unwanted noise.
There are a couple other things that happen occasionally, usually with Rundll32 having errors (more than usually I should point out). I have reinstalled windows and tried everything I can do. Thanks
