No signal

When trying to bring up my home computer, it appears the cpu is functioning properly but the only thing displayed on my monitor is ” No Signal”. I have removed and replaced the video card with one from another computer but continue to receive the above message. I don’t know how to get past this to begin to diagnosis the problem.
