NT and iexplorer

Heres a good one. I have an NT workstation and the internet explorer is not responding. I get an application error from Dr watson saying access violation in (0x0000005) and address 0x77F8882f for IE5wzd.exe and iexplore.exe. I can’t even reinstall the 5.5 explorer install, it won’t install I just get these errors. Whats up with this.How can I fix this. I won’t uninstall IE 5.5 either. Help Guys and Gals!!
