Nt backup

I have an HP vetra with an internal 5Gb Colorado drive installed. They use NT Backup to backup the files on that machine. But it has come to my attention that the reported file and block sizes of what files backed up do not match the file and block sizes reported on the verify step. It appears that there are 9 files the do not get verified. Any Ideas on why this is happening?
