NT CHKDSK

I have a EU on a Dell Lattitude Laptop Running NT 4.0 SP6 and on ever single bootup she has to run autochk or chkdsk, and i can’t seem to figure it out. I know that if you dont let it run it flags itself to re-run on next boot but ive let it run allthe way through on both drives like 12 times and it still come up. Is there something im missing? Im on a deadline on this one so its 250 to the winner.
