NT -DOCS OPEN – ORACLE ERROR

Specs:
– Hummingbird’s DOCS Open 3.82 Build 29
– Windows NT Workstation v4.0 SP6
– Oracle Client 8.0.5
– Excel is defined as “Full integration” within DOCS Open
– Powerpoint is defined as “ODMA Compliant”
– Word is defined as “ODMA Compliant”
When attempting to open an Excel or Powerpoint document from within DOCS Open, the error “The directory is invalid” is received. Word documents open without error.

If the associated application is opened first, then the document opens without error. Hummingbird Tech Support has not been successful with providing us useful tips to correct the problem, so any information that is provided by others using these same applications is greatly appreciated.
