NTFS drive in RAW format

Is there any way to retrieve the data from a NTFS drive if the file table has been accidentally deleted? I deleted the wrong partition while in NT4 setup, but noticed it right away and cancelled without formatting. The data is still there, I just can’t get to it. Thanks
