nvram data invalid – 1000 Points!

by lkistenkas . Updated 24 years, 11 months ago

Hi everybody,

When I start my computer I get a message from my BIOS which says:

NVRAM Data Invalid – NVRAM Cleared.

When I press escape I can normaly boot my system, but in windows I get more exceptional errors as normally, like when I try to start my mp3 player or netscape 4.6. IE5 works well. I think netscape and my mp3 player use more memory and that’s the reason the fail to load.

Does anybody know what the problem with my NVRAM is and how to solve it. I’ve allready tried to empty my bios by disconnecting the battery for a few hours. I lost al my settings but didn’t lose the nvram error.

Thanks in advance.

Greetings Laurens from the Netherlands.
