Office 2000 Updates

I have tried to use the new office update format,but it freezes up when it gets to 90% completion.I have tried reloading both office 200 disks,but I still recieve the same scripting error message:

The Windows update works fine for the operating system updates. I have tried to update Office 2000 through the same window; and also through the Outlook update window with the same results. Do you have any suggestions? My o/s is Win2k Pro.
