Oracle Financials Integration Question

Could someone please shed some light into the ability for Oracle Financials 10.7 to be integrated with a third-party reporting tool such as Actuate? Has anyone ever done this, or anything close to this? Will it be less painful to use a third-partyintegration tool, such as Weblogic Integration Server? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
