Partitions Issues

Hi
I installed a new 20gb hard drive on my system. When going through the fdisk options a primary partition was created and made active. However the size of this partition is limited to 504 MB.
I have proceeded to install win2000 server, I nowhave two partitions on my system. One with 504MB and the other with 18GB. How can i correct this partition size issues.
