I have a computer that I put together about
6 months ago, an AMD processor, new motherboard,
new case, new video card, new hard drive, new
R/W CD-Rom, new memeory (RAM), new power supply.
I had my old cd rom connected to my new R/W cd rom.
Idecided to disconnect the old one and just use the
recordable cd rom. I disconnected it from the IDE
cable both cd rom’s were sharing. I then set the
the R/W cd rom to master. When I turned it back on
the computer would run for maybe 3-5 seconds and
then the power would go off. I have removed every card one by one and then tried to turn on the computer hoping to find the culprit but no luck
so far. I have also tried reseating the memory
and have had no luck! If any one has any
suggestions I would appreciate any help anyone
could give me.
