Pc problem with LPT1

I reinstall win95 osr2 because of a virus attack, but now when reinstall the drivers for my BJC250 Canon printer I cannot print anything. It seems the port is wrong or not properly configured, because change the printer and happens the same.
Appeared an error mesage saying the communication with the LPT1 port failed.
Any ideas??
