PCMCIA modem get stuck

I’ve a toshiva latest dvd notebook and my prob is after coming from the hybernation mode the modem get stuck and cannot browse the net, I’ve to restart the machine manuallly always the overcome this prob, is there anyone who can help me on this problem I’d be appreciate.
