I have an AMD-800 Processor on a Giga-byte GA-7ZX mother board running Windows ME. I also have a CD-Rom, CDRW, 1.44 floppy, and a 2.88 floppy. All work great under Windows system, but it will not read my floppy drives to be able to use a boot disk at all.
In dos mode when I was running 98se it would say, drive not ready unable to read drive. And when I try to get it to accept a boot disk, it says, invalid system disk.
My system worked great before but it was attacked by a worm virus. I have since gotten rid of the virus but ever since then I have had this problem with the floppy drives.
Any kind of advice would be greatly appreciated, I’ve tried different floppy drives, ribbons, and different boot disks that work great in other computers but all do the same thing in mine.
