PLEASE HELP! HARD DRIVE PROBLEM!!

Hi. I am adding a second HD to my scsi system. But my system will not see it as a fixed drive, even thought the scsi bios load up fine. What can i do? I cant make partitions or format it because it doesnt even see it!
please help!!!!
