POWERBOOK G4 GREY SCREEN

I have a powerbook g4 800mhz when i turn it on the screen is grey and then in the
middle of the screen a little picture of
a hard disc will come on the screen and
in the middle of the little hard disc a
flashing ? will appear and it won’t let me
go any further then after a min. or so then it will shut off.
