PPP connection win2000 and solaris8

I have problem to connect to my Sun solaris 8
witch a ppp connection…. and Windows 2000.The connection stay for 2 minutes and after that nothing
I can’t ping or telnet the server.
But if i try witch a windows 98,95 or ME, I don’t have any problem
