Print Problem with USB con.,Novel, Win98

I am contracting to a court system that has HP930C printers at ever desk. They logon to a Novel network an AS/400 system from WIN98 workstations. Most of them are connected using USB connections(computer to printer).
They have numerous, flakey problems. The predominant one is their print software is telling them that their print cartridge is full when it is empty or visa versa, Also when they logon the printer spitts out a blank page. Not a catastrophy but I would like your help making me lookgood.
